Dungeonspace (a classic multiplayer Dungeon Crawler)

(current state)

Intro
I love playing retro-games and especially RPG’s. The oldest real-time RPG was Dungeon Master. Its clever designed levels, the tricky quests and the evil monsters are inspiring until today.

Some weeks ago a friend of mine and I decided to do our own classic dungeon crawler game.

Our common idea was to create a game with the flair of the good old dungeon crawler. But we don't want to start another clone. Instead we want to create our own story, quests and of course a modern interface and a LAN/Internet multiplayer mode.

We are just working in our spare time.

Besides time we are lacking a reliable and skilled graphic artist, who also likes oldschool RPGs and likes to do some pixel graphics. Idealists please give us a helping hand!

In the following posts we’d like to show you the progress of the game and our thoughts, why we did it this way or another… We know, that there are still many fans of old-school dungeon crawler, so if you have any suggestions or comments, please feel free to comment on our Development Log at tigsource forum: http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=24705.0

cheers
