I'm currently working on an Snes9x 1.52 (current version) port for SDL (Simple DirectMedia Layer) simply because there is none. As i read in thier Forum, they had one, but no one wanted to maintain it.
Today I managed to remove x11 and add SDL. The emulator already works on my Ubuntu x86 Linux and also on Dingux :-). Keymapping don't work, so i have to watch some Game intros.
The FPS are really slow 5-7fps :-/. I have to investigate more into that. Maybe it's only a wrong compiler setting, debugoutput or wrong configuration.
Who knows :-D ?
Update: It's an configuration issue.
Some screenshots running Winter Gold (FX2 Chipset) on Dingux (dingoo).
Hope you had a nice easter.
Stay tuned.
how i take screenshots of dingux ???

ReplyDeleteI realize it has been a while, but how is this going? I discovered today that I cannot play the English patched Fire Emblem Monshou no Nazo on any of the 4 available SNES emulators for the Dingoo (snes9x, snes9x4D, Native and pocketSNES). They all crash after a battle animation starts to render. The original, unpatched JPN version plays fine, however. The patched one works fine on 1.52 on Ubuntu, so I'm hoping 1.52 for Dingux would fix it as well.
